From Grace: Wow, what an incredible opportunity. I had the privilege of participating along side 5 other talented young artists in the semi-finals for a chance to compete for scholarship prizes of $10,000, $15,000, and $25,000. I advanced to the finals, along with two other musicians, and was awarded the $15,000 prize.
I sang 7 pieces two days in a row at Walk Festival Hall. It was the longest solo performance I had ever done and the first chance I had to perform classical music in my hometown!
I am so so grateful to @grandtetonmusic and all the anonymous donors for making this competition possible. It was the most beautiful experience and I would not change it for the world.
